Sample Washers
A range of sample washers are supplied to satisfy individual factory requirements.  All washers are completely automatic with efficient and reliable cleaning of the beet achieved by a continuous pressure spray tumble-wash operation with low water consumption and minimum maintenance.

Rotary Drum Washer
Individual beet samples are batch loaded through an inlet chute into a horizontal rotary screen wash drum.  A ribbon screw inside the drum conveys the beet along the drum where they are tumbled and washed by water jet sprays.  The drum rotation speed is variable to achieve the best retention and washing conditions.  Dirty water and grit are discharged through the slotted drum screening bars.  The washer drum is housed inside a watertight tank and is supported on urethane tyred rollers
incorporating water resistant air purge bearing seals.  Insulated covers and outlet gates are fitted for noise control.

Multistage Washer The machine provides five washing stations and a single dry discharge station. Loading and discharging occur simultaneously during an indexed stopped interval.  Each sample has a washing time of 2.5 minuets and the machine is capable of processing 120 samples per hour.
